Lyndon has recently been approved as one of three NSW Services to provide Drug & Alcohol treatment to Department of Veterans’ Affairs Clients

Lyndon’s approval as a service provider for Drug and Alcohol treatment by Department of Veterans’ Affairs enables DVA card holders can access our services through a payment arrangement which means the veteran does not pay for those services.

To access these programs DVA clients should contact the appropriate service below or call Lyndon on 1300 LYNDON.

Dianella Cottage  (Day program for women) 02 4782 2006

  • Referrals via phone, then face-to-face assessment before commencing group program
  • Groups run on 10-week cycle, 2 days/week, 4 times/year
  • Individual counselling and case management provided Mon-Thurs, 9am‑5pm

Outreach (Orange/Dubbo)  1300 LYNDON

  • Referral via phone, then phone or face-to-face assessment, Mon-Fri, 830am to 430pm
  • Counselling, case management and relapse prevention groups

Wandarma Aboriginal AOD Service  (Far South Coast NSW)  02 6492 0733

  • Referral via phone, then phone or face-to-face assessment, Mon-Fri, 9am‑5pm
  • Case management and men’s/women’s groups

Residential Programs  (programs based in Orange but can be accessed from across the state of NSW)  1300 LYNDON

  • No crisis admissions; if in crisis, client should attend nearest emergency department
  • All referrals via phone to Assessment Officer, who allocates next available bed for withdrawal
  • Assessments available Mon-Fri, 8am-3pm
  • Waiting times between 3 days to 2 weeks, depending on demand
  • Clients must go through withdrawal unit prior to rehab
  • Waiting times for rehab can be up to 6-8 weeks
